Why Our High-Acuity Urgent Care Model?

AMM delivers hospital level care with the convenience of urgent care
We partner with healthcare organizations to redefine community-based urgent and acute care

Urgent and Acute Care Spectrum

Our Advantage

  • Board-certified emergency medicine physicians at every site
  • Moderately-complex on-site laboratory testing
  • CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound and ECG diagnostics
  • Walk-in friendly and able to function like traditional urgent care
  • Shorter wait times than an ED — often under 60 minutes
  • Reduced risk of cross-contamination compared to ED settings
  • Lower patient out-of-pocket costs
  • Approximately 98% of patients treated and sent home
  • Designed to treat the 90% of ED patients who do not require admission

Our model gives communities a comprehensive option, bridging the gap between "traditional" urgent care and the emergency department — delivering better outcomes and stronger patient satisfaction through a "one-stop" solution.

Market Opportunity

There is a growing demand for high-quality, efficient urgent care, as well as accessible and effective alternatives to the ED. Across the U.S., this represents a multi-billion-dollar opportunity for health systems seeking to expand their ambulatory footprint.

AMM has deep experience in identifying high-value markets and developing sites that meet both community needs and system-level strategic goals.

Patient Satisfaction

We provide a one stop solution for standard urgent care conditions, as well as more severe issues that would have previously required patients to go to the ED. This enables 98% of our patients to go directly home in less than half the time and at a fraction of the cost of the ED, leading to high levels of patient satisfaction and loyalty.

Why AMM?

AMM is innovating health care in the ambulatory setting
We bring extensive experience in operationalizing higher-acuity urgent care

Mission, Vision, and Values

Our mission is to deliver urgent and emergency-level acute care through advanced, patient-centric urgent care facilities that reduce unnecessary emergency department visits while providing exemplary clinical quality and a dramatically better patient experience. Our vision is to be the premier ambulatory partner for healthcare organizations, transforming their position in the ambulatory marketplace through high-quality, cost-effective acute care delivered in the communities we serve. Our values of compassion, quality, integrity, collaboration, and innovation guide every partnership, decision, and patient interaction.

Transforming Urgent and Acute Care

AMM has developed seven sites across New Jersey, in partnership with two major health systems. These facilities have delivered emergency-level care in community settings for over 200,000 patients, consistently outperforming ED benchmarks for outcomes, wait time, cost, and patient experience. We have a long-standing partnership with an emergency medicine provider group to staff and support each location.

Leadership Experience

AMM brings more than 20 years of experience, delivering a comprehensive, higher-acuity urgent care model to its healthcare organization partners. The AMM leadership team created this unique model and has extensive experience in the emergency medicine and acute care space. The solution includes site selection, design, and development, as well as staffing and operational management of the facilities. This community-based model delivers advanced diagnostics and treatment at a fraction of the emergency department costs, improving outcomes, access, and satisfaction for patients while providing a pipeline of new opportunities for business partners.
